Canon EOS 40D
I knew I was going to get this by the end of the year. Just couldn't resist. Excellent camera, the reviews were dead on, well worth it's price if not more. Just got the body only, was not interested in either kit lenses, rather save up for the 85mm f1.2 or the 50mm f1.2.

I think that's small enough. Amazing how technology is going. Unthinkable a couple of years ago. As for price the sony micro vault (top) 2gb only cost me $19.99 where as a couple of years ago was $69.99.
The micro SD (middle) which I use for my LGenV phone cost only $27.99 on amazon.
I say keep lowering prices, increase storage but easy on the size.
