I knew I was going to get this by the end of the year. Just couldn't resist. Excellent camera, the reviews were dead on, well worth it's price if not more. Just got the body only, was not interested in either kit lenses, rather save up for the 85mm f1.2 or the 50mm f1.2.

Canon EOS 40D is budget minded action shooters dream camera.
Love my 40D as it has never let me down. This is a very capable camera which I will enjoy for a long time. Hell, I still have my 30D racking up the shutter count.
